Lenovo Launches Yoga Laptop Series With Intel And AMD Processors

Hardware manufacturer Lenovo today presented five new convertibles, each equipped with the latest Intel and AMD Ryzen processors. All new laptops have Wi-Fi 6 support and are available in the standard configuration for less than $1,000.

The new devices are the Yoga 6, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro, the Yoga 7i, the Yoga Slim 7i, and the Yoga Slim 7i Pro. The presented convertibles will replace the Yoga C740 and Yoga C640. The notebooks are designed as multimedia devices and offer support for Alexa, a quick charge function, and optimized battery life, The Verge Reported.

Yoga 6 with Ryzen 7 4700U processor

The display of the Lenovo Yoga 6 is 13.3 inches and has a full HD resolution. The buyer can choose which AMD processor is built into the convertible. A maximum of one Ryzen 7 4700U CPU is used inside the laptop. The processor is supported by up to 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM. The device has a one terabyte SSD. Most of the weight of 1.32 kilograms should be made up of the 60 watt-hour battery. The price depends on the configuration and is at least $699.

Compared to the Yoga 6, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro is a little larger with a display diagonal of 14.6 inches. In the new model, either Intel processors or CPUs of the Ryzen 4000 series are installed. The Yoga Slim 7 Pro is also equipped with 16 gigabytes of RAM. The starting price is 799 euros. Only Intel CPUs are built into the Yoga (Slim) 7i. While the Yoga 7i is available in two sizes (14 and 15.6 inches), the QHD screen of the Yoga Slim 7i is 13.3 inches. Both devices are delivered with up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. The Yoga Slim 7i uses LDDR4X RAM. The standard versions of the Yoga 7i start at $799. The Yoga Slim 7i costs at least 899 euros.

Yoga Slim 7i Pro with up to 32 GB LLDDR4X RAM

The Yoga Slim 7i Pro can be equipped with an Intel Core processor of the eleventh generation or an AMD CPU up to the Ryzen 9 4900H, depending on the user’s wishes. The display diagonal is 14 inches. The notebook is equipped with up to 32 gigabytes of LDDR4X RAM and a Thunderbolt 4 port. The price for the high-end convertible has not yet been announced.
