Linux Releases Kernel 5.10-rc6 And Its Stabilized

The update and adjustment scale of the Linux Kernel 5.10 version released in recent weeks has exceeded expectations, but fortunately, the sixth version candidate update released today has begun to stabilize. Linus Torvalds said that the current 5.10 development work is progressing smoothly and can be released according to the scheduled roadmap, and there should be no major problems.

Even though this week is the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, Linux 5.10-rc6 is still released “normally” instead of being delayed as usual. Torvalds believes that RC6 is not big and the overall development status is “good”. The good news is that after setting Linux 5.10 as long-term support (LTS) release, everything has calmed down. RC7 is expected to be released next Sunday, and the official version of Linux Kernel 5.10 will be officially released on December 13.
