Micromax made its comeback to the Indian smartphone market after a while and the company announced the Micromax IN Note 2 budget device earlier this week. The brand’s first smartphone of 2022, the IN Note 2 will go on sale for the first time tomorrow, January 30 via Flipkart. In case you are in the market to get a new phone under Rs 15,000, the Micromax IN Note 2 can be one of the options as it comes with features like AMOLED display, 48MP quad-camera, a big 5,000mAh battery and 30W wired fast charging. The Micromax IN Note 2 comes in single configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is priced at Rs 13,490 however, as an introductory offer, the phone will be available for Rs 12,490 and it will be available in Black and Oak colour options. It will go on sale via Flipkart from January 30.

The Micromax IN Note 2 sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 550nits brightness, and 466ppi pixel density. Additionally, the phone is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches. Under the hood, the IN Note 2 is backed by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which is built on top of a 12nm fabrication process and paired with Mali G76 GPU.
Further, the device is available in sole 4GB+64GB configuration and it also brings support for a microSD card slot. In terms of optics, the IN Note 2 features a quad-rear camera setup led by a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 115° field of view, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16MP snapper.
Powering everything onboard is a big 5,000mAh battery backed by a 30W fast charging solution. In terms of software, the device runs on near-stock Android 11 and it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual nano-SIM slot, Type-C port and 205-gram weight.
