Microsoft 365 update Rolled Back Due To Crashes

Microsoft has rolled back an update to Microsoft 365 that was released on August Patch Day. Users had reported that Office applications suddenly crash after the update. The issue only affects certain versions of Microsoft 365. Return to version 2205

Reports say this is a widespread issue that can only be resolved by downgrading to the previous version 2205. So you need to go back to a late July build.

Rollback is in progress

Microsoft is aware of the issue and has published a corresponding confirmation. It says that Microsoft has withdrawn the update and is working to fix it.
