Microsoft Launches Xbox Wireless Controller ‘Breaker Series’ in Three Designs

Microsoft further expands the range of Xbox Wireless Controllers. With the introduction of the new “Breaker Series” controller, three new variants are now moving in, which come in different designs with the same basic concept.

Special edition comes in three colors

The range of Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller Special Editions continues to grow with today’s start of the “Breaker Series”. From now on, you offer three other design variants at a price of 79.99 euros, all of which are the same basic design, which is reminiscent of broken ice cream, charcoal or other fragments.

The three controllers are kept in the basic tones of ice blue, black or gray and magenta, but use other accent colors and details. The pressure on the surface is kept in various other colors, while buttons, analog sticks and D-pads as well as the backs are colored in a basic tone.

Technically, the new “Breaker Series” controllers correspond to what normal Xbox wireless controllers offer. The devices connect via Bluetooth, Xbox Wireless or via a USB-C cable as required. They are always delivered with two AA batteries that are still responsible for the power supply and can be exchanged by the user. As usual, the trigger of the Breaker series controllers have a surface texture, and the handles are provided with a rubberization.

Microsoft had recently corrected its prizes for the Xbox controllers upwards and thus reacted to the uncertain situation based on American customs policy. In Germany, prices remain at an unchanged high level, as the controllers still cost 80 euros in the new special edition series. The new Xbox Wireless Controller Breaker Series officially starts sales from September 9, 2025, whereby the pre -order via the Xbox Store is already possible.
