Microsoft Outlook To Bring New Navigation Bar to iOS

Microsoft has announced that new features and revised menus will soon be available for the Outlook mobile app. As always, there will be a staggered release – so you will have to be patient to enjoy the innovations.

First, Microsoft announced changes for the Outlook Android app, and now a bunch of innovations for iPhone users follow. This is evident from the updated roadmap for Outlook.

Microsoft’s email app on iOS will soon have new navigation that will allow users to scroll through various key sections of the app. This should improve user-friendliness and be easy to use with one hand.

Microsoft has been working on a new navigation bar for a long time, which is located at the bottom – like the Safari address bar, for example. This makes it easier to use on the smartphone. The new bar provides easy access to Mail, Calendar, Feed, Contacts, and Files. Another advantage of the new customizable navigation bar is that Mail, Calendar, Feed, Contacts, and Files can be arranged in a customized order.

Microsoft rolled out similar changes to the Outlook Android app about a month ago, and the company has also promised to bring the revamped navigation bar to iOS users as well.

As for when the new Outlook navigation bar will be available for iOS users, Microsoft says iOS users will have to wait until March of this year. The release will be made gradually. In addition to the new navigation bar, an updated “Floating Action Button” will also be introduced.
