Microsoft Surface Pro 8 Leaked Prototype Listed On eBay With Specifications

A month ago it became known that Microsoft would not bring the Surface Pro 8 onto the market until next year. Now a leaked prototype for the new tablet has appeared. The device is sold on eBay and gives a first look at the specifications of the model.
The eBay offer as mentioned by Windows Central shows that Surface Pro 8 uses the 11th generation Intel Core CPU. The processor should be the Core i7-1165G7. In addition, Microsoft has installed 32 gigabytes of RAM and an SSD with a capacity of one terabyte. Windows 10 Version 2004 was installed as the operating system. The October 2020 update can be downloaded manually.
No changes to the design so far
While the technical specifications differ from the datasheet of the currently available Surface Pro 7 and represent an improvement, Microsoft does not appear to have made any changes to the design of the tablet. The same connections as on the previous model can be found on the sides. However, since this is not the final version of the Surface Pro 8, the external appearance should still be adjusted. A major redesign is considered unlikely.
The prototype must be picked up personally
If you want to purchase the preview version of the Surface Pro 8, you can place a bid on the corresponding eBay page. The minimum amount is $1,300. Of course, it is still unclear for what price the tablet will actually change hands in the end. Please note that the device will not be shipped and can only be picked up in person in Seattle.
