Although Samsung isn’t saying much about the Galaxy S22 and S22+, tipsters aren’t ready to stay quiet. The most recent tip came from Ice universe and is about the design of the duo.
According to the source, the S22 series will be wider than its predecessor – the Galaxy S21 lineup. The series will also be less “skinny and tall” than its predecessor. Several renders also confirmed slightly rounder edges and bezels are minimal all around. The series will feature tempered glass protectors.
Previous leaks suggested the three Galaxy S22 models – S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra – will feature a punch-hole for the front selfie camera, instead of an under-display camera. The base model will come with a 6.1-inch display, while the S22+ will get a 6.6-inch display.
The S22 and S22+ will get a Samsung’s ISOCELL GN5. The camera sensor on the duo will feature a 50MP sensor with all-directional autofocus and big 1.0µm pixels.
There will be two variants of the duo. One of them, intended for the Chinese and the US market will feature a Qualcomm SoC. For other regions, the devices will generate power from the Exynos 2200 chip. All three will have a 25W fast charging support. The base model is likely to feature a 3700mAh battery, S22+ to have a 4500mAh battery, whereas the Ultra model will get a 5000mAh battery.
