More than 2 million units of Redmi K70 series were sold in 60 days

Redmi announced its K70 series in China in November 2023. Notably, the series consists of the Redmi K70, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro. The sales of the Redmi K70 series begin on December 1. Sales of the K70 series surpassed one million units within the first 14 days of release, setting a new milestone for the company. Through its Weibo account, the company announced today that it had sold more than two million copies in the first sixty days of the K70 series’ release.

Some details about the impressive sales of the Redmi K70 series

After the first fifteen days, the next 1 million sales target was achieved between December 15 and January 30 which accounts for 46 days. In other words, it represents an average sales volume of about 22,000 units daily. The K70 series saw an average daily sales volume of about 33,000 units overall.

Reportedly, the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro are among the first Redmi-branded Xiaomi phones that run on HyperOS-based Android 14. The Redmi K70e is powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. It is the first smartphone to be powered by this chipset. In the global market, a rebranded variant of the same gadget is offered under the Poco X6 Pro name. It is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$280) in China.

The Redmi K70, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is available for 2,499 Yuan (~$350). The Redmi K70 Pro features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and is available for 3,299 Yuan (~$465). There are several rumors that the Redmi K70 will soon be sold worldwide under the Poco F6 Pro moniker. In regards to the K70 Pro, it might continue to be available only in China.
