Motorola Rolls Out Android 11 for Razr 5G

Motorola is spreading the Android 11 update to its second reincarnation of the Razr in a foldable form – the Razr 5G.

The update is labeled with RPS31.Q1-40-17-12 and is a heavy file of 1.8GB download. The company is updating the OS for Razr 5G; it forgot to pack it with the latest security patch. The one Motorola is sending for this port thing is not April, not March, but February. You read right. The company is sending February 2021 security patch.

No matter what the company does, users would still get an update. The company has seemingly started the rolling process for devices registered in Australia, Europe, India, and some South American countries.

As usual, the rollout process is in phases. So, if you live in any of the above-mentioned countries and still haven’t received the update notification, you could either check it manually from the settings or wait a little while. For owners residing outside these countries, they may have to wait for more.
