Mozilla Cancels Pilot Program For Firefox Extension Add-ons Promotion

Mozilla officially released the “Summary of the Promotional Attachment Pilot Program”, announcing that Mozilla will end the pilot program of the Firefox extension promotion program on January 21, 2021.

In the future, extensions in the Firefox official store will no longer be marked with the “verified” badge, and the browser will no longer warn users when installing extensions that have not been officially verified, according to the report by Ghacks.
