MSI Launches Motherboard With Integrated RAM and Liquid Cooling Z690 Godlike
MSI is also planning a new luxury motherboard from the Godlike series for Intel’s Alder Lake-S platform. A leak now provides a good overview of performance data and the scope of delivery. For well over 1000 euros there are RAM modules and water cooling at the same time.

The willingness to pay a lot of money for hardware is very pronounced in the PC gaming enthusiast market. With processors and graphics cards it is very accepted that top models bring big price tags, motherboards are probably one of the areas where prices of over 1000 euros still leave many astonished. MSI should once again fuel this amazement with its upcoming top offer for Alder Lake-S users.
After a first teaser about the product leaked a few weeks ago, Wccftech is now reporting, among other things, further information and first pictures of the top model MSI MEG Z690 Godlike. Noticeable at first glance: with dimensions of 305 x 310, the motherboard is extremely large even in comparison with the high-end competition. The LGA 1700 socket is supplied with electricity through 22 phases, which in turn is connected to an EPS 8-pin connector.
Retail Packaging Comes With Extras
The unofficial pictures apparently also allow a look at the packaging with which the MSI MEG Z690 Godlike is supposed to end up in stores. One of the most interesting things about this is a note on the bottom right: According to this, the motherboard is delivered in a bundle with water cooling and RAM modules.
Specifically, this includes MSI’s in-house cooling solution Core Liquid S360, which, with its triple radiator and IPS display on the CPU block, is also part of the company’s high-end range. When it comes to RAM, the Kingston HyperX Fury Beast is apparently included, consisting of two 16 GB bars with DDR5-6000 – also top-of-the-range hardware.
Even after this leak, the price remains in the range of speculations. The previous year’s model MSI MEG Z590 Godlike went on sale for around 1000 euros, so the bundle price of the successor should be significantly higher again. It wouldn’t be a big surprise if MSI targets a mark above 1500 euros in the end.
