Neo Berlin 2087: The cyberpunk hope comes in 2028, new trailer

Elysium Game Studio and ByteRockers’ Games have released a new trailer for the action role-playing game Neo Berlin 2087 in the run-up to Gamescom 2026 and have also narrowed down the release date. However, those interested will have to wait a while longer.

Detective work in the Berlin of the future

Neo Berlin 2087 tells an exciting sci-fi story from the perspective of detective Nolan, who searches for the police chief’s daughter in a dystopian Berlin and comes across a huge conspiracy that could ultimately plunge the metropolis into chaos.

In addition to sneaking and open combat, Nolan also has investigative work on the agenda. Using state-of-the-art technology, he can relive the last moments of victims and thus uncover hidden clues. Players can switch between a first-person and a chaser perspective at any time for a better overview. Nolan’s behavior and decisions influence other characters and thus change the course of the story.

Language version, narrator and release time window

Neo Berlin 2087 uses Unreal Engine 5, the new trailer shows a mix of gameplay material and video sequences. However, the developers promised that generative AI was not used. They have now also made it clear that there will only be an English language version for publication. In this, Elias Toufexis (including Adam Jensen in Deus Ex) will lend his voice to the protagonist. Serbian actress Dunja Stojanovic plays the missing daughter Natalie.
