Netflix announces the Squid Game season 2

Netflix has officially given the green light for season 2 of the hit series Squid Game. The broadcaster has released a short teaser and message from series creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk confirming the return of his favorite characters and a new deadly doll.

After the Korean series Squid Game became a worldwide phenomenon, making a second season was a no-brainer for Netflix. Season 1 of Squid Game took the world by storm when it appeared on Netflix in 2021 and brought in nearly $1 billion in profits for Netflix shortly after its release, a record high.
