New rumors confirm an in-screen fingerprint scanner for S10
We are hearing all sorts of rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S10. The new rumors suggest that we can expect an in-display fingerprint sensor with advanced facial recognition feature and a choice of two screen sizes. The handset is set to arrive next year sometime.
What we know so far is that the iris scanning technology being used by the current Galaxy phones is getting ditched according to the sources at The Bell. The device will have what iPhone X already uses, we are talking about a 3D facial scanner and a fingerprint sensor. However, none of these features are set in stone and can be changed so take this with a pinch of salt. Samsung has been working with biometric technology and if their in-screen fingerprint technology does not work then one can see reverting back to the old unlocking technology.
The two display sizes that have come forward concern a 5.8 inch screen and the other a 6.3 inch for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus respectively. The Galaxy S9display measures 5.8 inches corner to corner, while the Galaxy S9 Plus version measures 6.2 inches. This means that the bezels will get shrunk even further too. There also seems to be a triple lens camera in the works just like the ones we see on Huawei phones.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be unveiled by the company in the next couple of months as rumors start pouring in about the S10. It seems like the upcoming phone will be an upgrade in the camera and battery department. We sincerely hope that it can woo the audience because of the high anticipation set by the company.
