New Snapdragon 870 5G For Affordable Smartphones

Of course, this only applies to the high-end cores of the eight-core processor. Basically, Qualcomm continues to market its predecessor with the Snapdragon 870 with a slightly higher clock rate in an otherwise unchanged form. The Snapdragon X55 5G modem in combination with the Snapdragon 870 5G ensures that 5G is also supported in sub-6 GHz and mmWave networks.
With the new chip, Qualcomm is responding to demand from the smartphone industry, where they want a new platform for flagship smartphones that cost hundreds of euros less than the absolute top models equipped with the new Snapdragon 888.
