New this week on Netflix, Prime Video & Disney+
This week, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ are launching more than 30 films and series. Highlights from the streaming services include Cobra Kai, Babylon, Ninja Turtles, Tenet and 9-1-1. Our overview shows all dates and new releases.
Crime, time travel and Hollywood glamour
On Netflix, the week begins with the family-friendly Wonderoos, followed by the eleventh season of the popular series “Hubert ohne Staller”. The extended director’s cut of “Truth or Dare” also offers additional scenes for fans of the original film and “Homicide: Los Angeles” promises exciting crime cases. The sequels to “T・P BON” and “The Green Gloves” as well as the first part of the sixth season of “Cobra Kai” and “Master of the House” are also part of the program.
Hollywood tip: “Babylon – Intoxication of Ecstasy” should offer the biggest star line-up this week. The US historical drama stars Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire and Olivia Wilde, among others. Amazon Prime Video is presenting a selection from action to drama this week. With “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” and “The Mortal Instruments – City Of Bones”, fans of action-packed stories will get their money’s worth. “Tenet,” a film by Christopher Nolan, also offers a complex narrative with time travel elements. “The Palace” and “My Spy: The Eternal City” provide further entertainment, while “Uninterrupted’s Top Class Tennis” appeals to sports enthusiasts.
Disney+ is offering new releases for different target groups this week. The seventh season of “9-1-1: Emergency Call LA” is sure to provide excitement. The new seasons of “Puppy Buddies” are suitable for children and families. “King of Sharks” offers impressive insights into the underwater world and is sure to delight nature and animal lovers. Other series such as “Farm Dreams” and “Club Houdini” round off the program offering.
