Google is rolling out a new update for the newly launched Google Pixel 6 series. The update brings some new and enhanced camera features, some performance-related enhancements, and features related to Bluetooth.
Starting with the camera features for the Google Pixel 6 lineup, we have a new Timer light feature that flashes the back camera light during the timer.
It also brings multiple new enhancements and performance-related fixes. The device will also get a new Bluetooth feature. It will have support for Bluetooth mic. With this feature, “users can now use their wireless earbuds and Bluetooth devices to record audio on their Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.”
The update comes with firmware version SD1A.210817.036.A8 for Verizon customers and SD1A.210817.036 for the rest. Users can download the update by heading towards the Phone’s Settings menu, then System, and finally to the Software update sub-menu.
Google will gradually roll out the update to the Google Pixel 6 series. If it isn’t available on your device, you might have to wait for a little to get this update. But it will come to you.
