Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090: First Prices from Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte

Although there is still a good two weeks until the announced market launch of the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards, the first retailers have listed various models. Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI are now preparing to start selling. The first models have already been spotted at the US retailer Newegg and at the European online retailer Proshop.

That reports Online magazine VideoCardz. Proshop already offers a greater variety and lower prices than was seen at Newegg. The price for Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI is particularly interesting for everyone who is waiting for the new Nvidia series. According to the first comparison, they are now between 1899 euros and 2549 euros.

The cheapest models are the Gigabyte WindForce, ASUS TUF, and MSI’s Gaming Trio. All of these cards offer standard clock speeds. The cheapest overclocked model is the Inno3D X3 OC for 2,099 euros. Graphics cards with liquid cooling, such as the INNO3D iChill Frostbite, iChill Black, or MSI Suprim Liquid X, are available between 2299 and 2399 euros.

ASUS ROG Strix series

The ASUS ROG Strix series is the most expensive GPU and starts at 2529 euros. The overclocking model costs $20 more, so there’s little reason to go for the non-OC variant.

Sales Starting From October 12th

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU will officially launch on October 12, 2022. Then the designs from Nvidia and custom card partners should be available to the public. Nvidia offered a first look at the new RTX 4000 graphics cards in September. The new top model is the RTX 4090, equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. Nvidia plans to release other models with the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 next year.
