Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090: Graphics card is supported by AIDA64

The AIDA64 diagnostic software has been updated. The program now offers support for the previously unreleased graphics card Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090. Since no further new GPUs are supported, other models are likely to appear later.

The AIDA64 Extreme version 6.70.6033 is a beta update. The added support for the RTX 4090 hints loudly video cardz indicates that Nvidia will soon release the GPU generation. The RTX 4000 series is said to be based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and will deliver more CUDA cores than previous generations. The VRAM memory, on the other hand, should not have been expanded and should have been 24 GB in size. The RTX 4090 is rumored to perform twice as fast as the current RTX 3090.

While the RTX 4090 could see the light of day soon, other models in the RTX 4000 series are likely to be released at a later date. Otherwise, the AIDA64 update would also have added support for more graphics cards. In addition to the GeForce RTX 4090, only the significantly slower GTX 1630 and the Hopper H100 are now additionally supported. In addition, the beta also adds support for the AMD Radeon Pro W6600, some MSI chipsets, and enhanced support for some Intel Alder Lake-P and Alder Lake-M processors.

Launch possible in the coming months

Further details about Nvidia’s new GPU series cannot be found in the update for AIDA64. It is also still unclear when the RTX 4090 will actually be available. It is considered likely that the graphics card will be available for purchase in the coming months. The manufacturer has not yet officially responded to its new models.
