On December 27, Oppo will hold an X7 Series conference in China

In the past few days, we have come across several rumors regarding the Oppo Find X7 series. It was just recently announced that the company is going to conduct a conference for the upcoming series on December 27. Expectedly, the company might share details about the innovative features and advancements of the upcoming series. Oppo might, however, reveal some intriguing information and we might learn about its official launch, which is anticipated to occur in the middle of January.

The company has chosen “Exploring Technology in No Man’s Land” as the tagline for the conference. Oppo and Hasselblad will be jointly conducting the conference, so we can expect details about the camera setup of the Oppo Find X7 series. Perhaps the conference will share more insight about the satellite communication feature.

The new series has paid a visit to Geekbench and other public certifications that shed some light on the features of the upcoming smartphones. Based on reports, the Oppo Find X7 series is expected to feature a Sony LYT-900 1-inch camera sensor with a 1.6μm pixel size.

Features and specifications of Oppo Find X7 series

Rumors suggest that the series will comprise three members, including the Oppo Find X7, the Find X7 Ultra, and the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version. According to reports, the base model of the series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, whereas the Ultra models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Both devices include UFS 4.0 storage and multiple LPDDR5x RAM modules.

The standard Oppo Find X7 will feature a 6.78-inch BOE 8T OLED display. However, the Ultra models will feature a 6.82-inch BOE 8T OLED 2K resolution display panel. A refresh rate of 120Hz and 2160Hz PMW dimming will be part of all three models. When it comes to the camera setup, the base model will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto unit. The Ultra models, on the other hand, will feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and several telephoto lenses consisting of a 50MP IMX858 sensor (with OIS and 6x optical zoom) and a 50MP IMX890 sensor (with OIS and 3x optical zoom).

The same 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging will be used in all three devices. Although 50W wireless charging will also be supported by the Ultra versions. Currently, there are no details about the pricing and availability of the smartphone; however, we might learn more about the new series at tomorrow’s conference.
