On March 18, Qualcomm will introduce new Snapdragon chips
The upcoming launch conference by Qualcomm will be held on March 18th. Reportedly, the company will debut its latest Snapdragon flagship system-on-a-chip (SoC). The upcoming event is advertised with the slogan “Intelligence is in the core, and there is a dragon in it.”
According to rumors, the company will announce Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) chips at the event. The details suggest that these chips share ‘Cliffs’ as the internal codename. Perhaps they are different versions of the same core offering. Both these chips are built on the architecture of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
We have come across some details about the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chips via leaks. In addition to this, several rumors regarding the devices that will be powered by the upcoming chipsets have emerged.
The potential devices that could be powered by either the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processors include Redmi Note 13 Turbo (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), Vivo Pad 3 (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), Xiaomi Civi 4 (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), iQOO Neo 9 series new devices (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), Realme GT Neo6 series (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3), and OnePlus Ace 3V (Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3).
We’ll have to wait until Qualcomm’s formal announcement on March 18th to verify these details and the lineup of devices.
