One UI 6.1 enables you to start Bluetooth Auracast broadcasts

Earlier this week, Samsung have introduced its latest One UI 6.1 software with Galaxy S24. This latest version of One UI came in with a bunch of new features along with some enhancements. It also includes the new Samsung Find app, Super HDR support along with other AI-powered features and the latest Bluetooth feature.

One UI 6.1 enhanced Bluetooth Aurcast

Samsung added Bluetooth Auracast to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro a few months back, but it did not give its phones the option to create Bluetooth Auracast audiocasts that others could join. Mishaal Rahman reported that the business done so with the One UI 6.1 upgrade. With the photos shared you can see ‘Broadcast Sound Using Auracast‘ created from the Bluetooth settings menu.

With this capability, multiple Bluetooth earphones with LE Audio and Auracast can participate in a single audio stream. For example, you can create an Auracast for the music you’re playing on your Galaxy S24, and numerous individuals with Galaxy Buds 2 Pros can listen to it simultaneously.

A four-digit password is required when someone joins your Auracast audiocast from your smartphone in order to prevent unauthorized users from joining. With the One UI 6.1 upgrade, this capability might be made available to owners of current Samsung smartphones and tablets. The gadget must, however, have Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio support.
