Although the smartphone is not due to be launched on the market until spring 2021, the first hands-on for the OnePlus 9 5G was published today. The design and specifications of the device are now largely known so that only a few details are missing.
The report comes from an unspecified anonymous source and was leaked to PhoneArena. The hands-on is equipped with images that show the upcoming Android flagship from different perspectives. While the front has a small pinhole camera, the back of the 5G smartphone is equipped with a triple camera. The new Ultrashort logo was placed next to the lenses.
The size of the screen should be 6.55 inches. The display has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The panel also supports HDR and a frame rate of 120 Hertz. The frame of the OnePlus 9 5G was made of aluminum. The SIM slot and the USB-C port are located on the underside of the smartphone.
A Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is supported by eight GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage can be found inside the device. Android 11 is used as the operating system. As usual, the software is extended by OnePlus’ own OxygenOS user interface.
OnePlus 9: Known Specifications

There is still no information about battery capacity. It is considered likely that the smartphone will be officially announced and launched in the first quarter of the new year.
