OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu, today, announced that the OnePlus 9 series will come with two-year official warranty service. The CEO said,
Today 315, I decided to announce a decision that may offend the industry. OnePlus 9 series models will enjoy 2 years of official warranty service! Double the time than the official industry warranty.
Furthermore, Liu Zuohu said, “…is equivalent to buying our new product, and almost the entire life cycle of use can enjoy the official warranty”.
The OnePlus 9 series is said to be launched during a conference at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center at 14:00 on March 24.
The primary specifications of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro is leaked prior to their official release.
The OnePlus 9 series will have a chipset codenamed “Lahaina”, a Snapdragon 888 processor. Earlier, it was expected that only the Pro model will have this chip. But the recent leaks tell that the regular OnePlus 9 will also use the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Moreover, the OnePlus 9 series will come with 12GB of RAM and run on Android 11.
The device will also have a 6.55″ FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 70×151 mm. Furthermore, there would be 3 camera sensors, and is Hasselblad tuned. The lens part will have two main cameras and 2MP cameras of the OP9 Pro. This smartphone will also come with a built-in 4500 mAh battery, supporting a 65W fast charging head. The least variant will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will be available in glossy black, blue, and purple.
The OnePlus 9 Pro will have a gray body shape and rectangular camera module. This device will be provided with four cameras, and the company has authenticated that it will add a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide-angle camera. There are also three cameras, namely a 48MP IMX789 main camera, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP lens. The last two lenses support laser autofocus. The phone will also support recording 8K video (30 FPS) and 4K video (120 FPS). Furthermore, the OnePlus 9 Pro may be equipped with a 120Hz QHD + display. There is also a metal frame, notification slider, and the device will be available in black, green, and silver.
The device will have a 6.7-” 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen as well as the Snapdragon 888 chip.
