OnePlus 9RT 5G has Finally Unleashed in China

As promised a couple of days ago, the OnePlus has finally unleashed the OnePlus 9RT 5G in China. The device’s specifications are also the same as the company unveiled a couple of days ago.

The 9RT 5G features a 6.62-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It has an overall flat look with a punch hole on the top left for the front camera. The device has reasonably thin bezels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Camera-wise, the OnePlus 9RT comes with the Sony IMX766 sensor on the rear. The main camera is a 50MP sensor, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there’s another 16MP wide camera.

Under the hood, we get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G (5 nm) paired with three ROM & RAM variants – 128GB / 8GB, 256GB / 8GB, and 256GB / 12GB. The device also features an octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680) CPu and Adreno 660 GPU.

Though the battery size isn’t very impressive (a 4,500mAh battery), it comes with 65W fast charging support. The OnePlus 9RT 5G will run OxygenOS 11 on top of Android 11 (it’s a shame the company didn’t unleash the device with the new Android 12 OS.

This OnePlus smartphone is available in three color variants – Black, Silver, and Blue. The prices of the three variants of the 9RT 5G goes like this:

  • 3,299 yuan ($510) for 8GB/128GB variant
  • 3,500 yuan ($545) for 8GB/256GB variant
  • 3,800 yuan ($590) for 12GB/256GB variant

Currently, the OnePlus 9RT 5G is available in China. The next country to receive the device could be India. But the US market might not receive this device, according to a source. For other regions, we have no idea when the company would unleash the beast.
