OnePlus expected to drop the label ‘Pro’ given its new flagship series: The OnePlus 11

OnePlus is dropping the label ‘Pro’ from its flagship series

As per the news information from two individual trusted tipsters, OnePlus is aiming to drop the ‘Pro’ label given its new flagship series. Thus, indicating that the forthcoming flagship by the coming will be named OnePlus 11.

Well if we believe that this information is true, then it can be assumed that OnePlus is going to restructure its flagship series as a whole. The core group flagship series will receive no more than two models in the first half of the year. Where a potential ‘T’ upgrade can be expected in the second half of the year. However, this strategy is completely new. Since this was not the case since 2018 and with the OnePlus 6.

Furthermore, if we look at the trend followed by smartphone companies given their flagship series, quite a couple of flagship variants are introduced. This is done in accordance with to appeal of the massive user community. Given the new strategy, OnePlus seems to be stepping back in this trend.  Well, this might not be a bad choice. Since the vanilla option of the OnePlus 8 series was not a successful project. It felt like it only made its appearance to upscale the sales of the Pro edition.

The OnePlus 11 is expected to be introduced by Q1 2023. As per the news information from @OnLeaks and GadgetGang, the first official information about the device is surfacing on the internet. One thing to be noted here is that these official renders align with the previous unofficial renders.

A smartphone having model number PHB110 was spotted to receive the certification for 3C with 100W charging. It can’t be deemed anything else but the OnePlus 11.

As per the reports, the smartphone is expected to support 11V/9.1A output. It is definitely an upgrade in contrast to the OnePlus 10 Pro. But it is less than the OnePlus 10T.

Where the power adapter of the OnePlus 11 holds the model number VCBAJACH. This device is similar to the one utilized by Realme users given the GT2 Explorer Master smartphone. However, it is unclear whether OnePlus utilizes the 5,000 mAh battery or not. As the OnePlus 10 Pro had the same capacity as well.
