Oppo Find X4 Leaks: Two Models with Different SoCs

Oppo is likely to announce the Find X4 series in Q1 of 2022.

OPPO Find X4 Series

After the introduction of two new chipsets from two big giants, MediaTek and Qualcomm, smartphone makers are rushing to equip their new flagships with these powerful new chips. OPPO is also one of them and is likely to use both of the new chips in its upcoming line of OPPO Find X4.

According to reports, Oppo will announce the Find X4 series in Q1 of 2022. There are likely to be two models under this brand variant – the Oppo Find X4 (vanilla) and Oppo Find X4 Pro. The former is likely to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000, while the latter will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Interestingly, the company hasn’t announced the series yet, but tipsters have (like always) made their way to grab some details about the duo. So, let’s explore the two from our tipsters’ point of view.

OPPO Find X4 Series (rumors)

According to rumors, the vanilla model will sport a 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED LTPO panel with a 2K resolution, a 1Hz to 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, and 10-bit colors. However, the tipster didn’t mention which of the two will come with these display features.

Moving ahead, the tipsters also expect the device (one from the series or perhaps both) will come in two variants 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The series is also likely to come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging technology and 50W wireless charging. Again, we aren’t sure if the tipster is talking about the vanilla model or the Pro.

The front panel will feature a Sony IMX709 32MP cat-eye lens, while the rear side may include an OIS-enabled Sony IMX766 50MP primary camera, a Sony IMX766 50MP ultrawide freeform lens, and an OIS-ready Samsung S5K3M5 13MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom.

The tipster also talked about the price range that starts at 4,999 Yuan (~$785) for the 8GB/256GB variant.

Note that these are only rumors based on third-party sources. The company has yet to announce the series.
