Earlier today, news came out that the Chinese Smartphone company Oppo is planning on launching a lineup of Tablet and Laptop next year, 2021. The company is working on expanding its portfolio further. Most famous smartphone manufacturers namely; Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, have already started launching laptops a while ago.
As per the reports, the Chinese company all set to launch 2 of its new products, a tablet, and a laptop, by Q1 next year.
This is exciting news considering that only a handful of companies currently offer Android tablets. Lenovo focuses on the budget segment, while Samsung and Huawei have the premium tablets covered. On the other hand, Xiaomi used to launch a tablet every now and then but has been quiet for a while now.
The tablet market is currently subjugated by Apple’s iPad lineup since the company has multiple offerings in this space. From now, it will be interesting to see how Oppo plans to challenge the competition.
The same goes for the laptop category. The company will be competing against the likes of Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi, which have already expanded their offerings from Smartphones to laptops.
So far, Oppo has not revealed any information in this regard but surely more details will be released as the launch date comes near.
