Premium Users On YouTube Can Now Have Google Opinion Rewards system

Google is constantly rolling out new features across its many products and services, making it hard to keep track at times. Much of this progress is driven by feedback from users and the thousands of voluntary beta testers who try out features for popular apps and services. Recently, Google announced it will reward YouTube feature testers with gift cards in exchange for their detailed feedback.
Most beta testers can submit bug reports and feedback with accompanying device logs when testing a Google app. However, Google has a dedicated app called Opinion Rewards where you answer short quizzes about various services like your Maps history or Search juicer experience, and the company rewards each completed survey with a small amount of money. However, it is credited as Play Balance you can use only in the Play Store and other Google apps.
Google has launched a new program for YouTube Premium subscribers to test upcoming features and provide feedback. If you’re eligible for a study, you’ll receive a questionnaire with instructions, and as a thank-you for your time, you’ll get a gift card upon completion. You can find details about this process on YouTube’s experimental features page, where updates are shared. However, only Premium members can try out these new features.
YouTube Same feedback Earlier
If you’re experiencing déjà vu reading that, you might have seen a similar YouTube experiment in the past, where feedback was rewarded with gift cards of some form. However, smaller details like this often tend to fly under the radar, especially considering YouTube’s experiments were just in the news this week for a new Google One bundle.
Google hasn’t clarified where the reward gift cards will be redeemable, but hopefully, they’ll offer more flexibility than just Play Store credits. YouTube’s decision to keep its feedback system separate from other Google apps using Opinion Rewards shows its dedication to focused development. This could hint at significant updates, possibly involving new AI features, as detailed feedback often precedes major changes. Currently, it seems the sign-up process isn’t restricted by region, so if you have Premium, consider signing up.
