Prices for five new Core Ultra CPUs revealed

After difficult months, Intel has to deliver with its new processors. Lunar Lake was the first. Arrow Lake could follow soon, because an online retailer is already listing some models and their prices in his shop. Intel

Arrow Lake follows Lunar Lake

Intel only introduced its new Lunar Lake CPUs at the beginning of the week. The Core Ultra 200V series, which is intended for mobile devices, is even supposed to compete with ARM processors with its low power consumption and high performance.

At least that’s what Intel conveyed with its own benchmarks, in which Lunar Lake was compared with CPUs from competitors such as AMD and Qualcomm. For desktops, however, there is the K series or Arrow Lake. Intel actually wanted to present these processors at its innovation event. But then the most important event of the year was canceled. The company wants to present new developments on a smaller scale first. However, this should not have any influence on the release of the chips, it said.

First prices for K-series surfaced

The fact that the market launch of the first Arrow Lake processors is probably not far away is now evident from the fact that LambdaTek (via Videocardz) a first online retailer is listing several chips from the K series in its shop. Detailed price information is also included. A total of five different CPUs are listed. This includes the absolute top model, the Core Ultra 9 285K, for which the first benchmark results have already appeared. The retailer is offering the flagship for 665.60 euros including taxes. This puts the CPU in roughly the same price segment as the Ryzen 9 9950X from AMD. Two other K models and two KF models are also listed with prices including taxes. The KF chips are variants without integrated graphics.

  • Core Ultra 9 285K – €665.60
  • Core Ultra 7 265K – €461.79
  • Core Ultra 7 265KF – €443.80
  • Core Ultra 5 245K – €353.88
  • Core Ultra 5 245KF – €335.90

October release is possible

According to rumors, Intel could plan to present the processors on October 10th. The market launch could then take place a week later. However, there is no official confirmation of these dates. However, the fact that the CPUs are already appearing with prices at an online retailer actually indicates that Arrow Lake will be launched soon. Three weeks ago there was a major leak in which the specifications of a total of 14 Arrow Lake CPUs were revealed.
