Qualcomm has announced the date for its in-house conference. Traditionally, the upcoming showcase CPU for smartphones will also be unveiled. At the end of the month, all the facts about the Snapdragon 898 should be on the table.

2022 Flagships Will Have SD 898

The Snapdragon Tech Summit is actually an event that is not aimed directly at consumers. Nevertheless, the conference has been promising exciting news about the drives that users of high-end devices can expect in the coming year. Qualcomm has now announced that this year, from November 30th to December 2nd, among other things, invites to the presentation of new processors.

Like WCCFTech Report writes, it is tradition for the company to present the successor to the currently most powerful CPU in more detail on the first day of the event. This year, it is very likely that the Snapdragon 898 will be presented on November 30th – after all, Qualcomm wants to start with an outlook on the progress made in terms of performance in one year.

Performance To Be Seen

As always, the rumor mill is already delivering a rich selection of information snacks. The leaker MauriQHD, who has been able to provide accurate statements over the past few months, also wants to be able to provide information on the Snapdragon 898. According to this, Qualcomm and Samsung are further deepening their partnership and using the South Koreans’ 4nm process for mass production – which is also to be used in the upcoming Exynos 2200.

Leaks also attribute the same tri-cluster CPU design to the Snapdragon 898 as its predecessors – a structure with a high-performance core, performance cores, and efficiency cores. Last but not least, the performance should be increased by a new AI coprocessor, which should enable intelligent control of the clock rates and energy consumption. We’ll know more by the end of the month at the latest.
