QuickBooks Introduces Tap to Pay on iPhone for Small Businesses

Intuit QuickBooks today announced the rollout of Tap to Pay on iPhone for U.S.-based QuickBooks Online customers. This new feature allows small and mid-sized businesses to accept contactless payments directly on their iPhones—no extra hardware needed.

Seamless Payment Integration

With Tap to Pay, businesses can now receive payments using just their iPhone through the QuickBooks mobile and GoPayment iOS apps. Customers can pay using contactless credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, or other digital wallets, eliminating the need for external devices.

All transactions processed through Tap to Pay are automatically categorized and reconciled within QuickBooks Online, saving time and simplifying financial management.

Faster Payments, Less Hassle

This feature is designed to help small businesses receive payments faster by cutting down on delays from invoice processing. Businesses can accept immediate payments on open invoices or even create new invoices right at the point of sale.

Availability

Tap to Pay on iPhone is exclusively available to QuickBooks Online customers in the U.S. with an active QuickBooks Payments plan. The rollout starts today, with broader availability expected in the coming weeks.
