Quordle: Answers And Tips For Sunday, June 12

For many, Sundays are all about taking a load off and relaxing, so don’t get stressed out with today’s Quordle if you’re struggling to make progress. Scroll on down for some clues and the answers if you think they’ll help you.

Here’s how the game works: Just start typing in words. You have four five-letter words to guess and nine attempts to find them all. The catch is that you play all four words simultaneously.

If you get a letter in the right place for any of the four words, it will light up in green. If a word contains a letter from one of your guesses but it’s in the wrong place, it will appear in yellow. After you use a letter in a guess, you’ll also see on the keyboard whether it’s in any of the words.

That quartet of mystery words is not always easy to deduce, unfortunately. So, here are some clues for today’s Quordle that may help you, followed by the answers if you need them:

  4. Word 2 (top right) clue — a tropical fruit

Quordle Answers For June 12

Spoiler warning. All is not lost (or at least I hope it isn’t). You can still turn back and try to figure out the words with the help of my clues.

If you’re calling it quits, however, the words are…

  • SHIRK
  • GUAVA
  • OPINE
  • FABLE

I don’t remember seeing a game of Quordle where consonants aren’t repeated from word to word. Lots of vowels today, especially for “guava” and “opine.” Also, “shirk” is one of those words where there are lots of possibilities to get a different valid guess by changing one letter. A deceptively tough game today.

Hope those clues helped you find the words, or that you were at least able to keep your Quordle streak going with the answers
