Realme GT and GT Neo is set to go global, starting from India. According to Realme’s CMO, Francis Wong, the company will launch it as part of its 3rd-anniversary celebration.
The expected date of launch in India is May 4, 2021, which is three years from its establishing date, i.e. May 4, 2018.
The Realme GT Neo was also spotted on BIS certifications, which confirms that the company will soon launch the smartphone in India.
The company has already launched the Realme GT 5G in China. The phone is the first to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The design of the GT 5G model is inspired by sports cars and comes in two glass versions. According to the source, “on the 3D glass back covers, the silver version is designed with countless delicate optical grade textures. On the other hand, the blue version uses a special optical film on the back cover.”
The Realme GT 5G runs the Android 11 on top with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0. The phone has two variants – 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The smartphone is packed with a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Super Dart charging support. Then there is a triple rear camera setup at the backside with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, Sony IMX682 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front cam is a 16MP with an f/2.5 aperture.
The phone comes with a 6.43″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
