Realme, such as OnePlus, Oppo, or Vivo, a brand of the Chinese electronics giant BKK Electronics, has promised the official launch of the GT Neo 3 and GT Neo 3T for the global market on June 7. Until now, the GT Neo 3 with a 150-watt fast charging option was only available in the domestic market.
Realme presented the GT Neo 3 in China in March. The smartphone with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel (FHD+, 120 Hertz) and SoC Dimensity 8100 from MediaTek has a fast charging mechanism in the version with a 4,500 mAh battery that charges the battery with up to 150 watts. In the alternative version with 5,000 mAh, that is still 80 watts. Realme calls this technology “UltraDART”, in the OnePlus Ace, based on the same platform, is marketed as “SuperVOOC”. The OnePlus Ace is so far only available in China.
Other features of the GT Neo 3 include a triple camera (main camera with 50 MP OIS based on Sony IMX766, ultra wide-angle lens with 8 MP and 119 degrees field of view, and macro camera with 2 MP). As Realme has announced on Twitter, the Realme GT Neo 3 will be officially announced on June 7th at 7:00 am GMT for markets outside of China – including Europe with a probability bordering on certainty.
As the Indonesian Realme account has already revealed, the GT Neo 3T, parallel to the GT Neo 3, will also see the light of day on June 7 as a cheaper offshoot. The GT Neo 3T aims to: according to rumors rely on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and offer a 6.62 inch 120 Hertz AMOLED display. It is not yet known whether it can also be charged with 150 watts. So far, only a version has been reported with a 5,000 mAh battery with 80 watts fast charging.
