Realme is set to launch a gamer-centered flagship, called Realme X50 Pro Player Edition, on May 25. The company has already shared some of the smartphone’s images, which confirmed that it will be sporting a quad-camera setup at the back. Now the information shared by a reliable Chinese tipster has revealed the full X50 Pro Player Edition specifications.

The source says that the Snapdragon 865 SoC will power X50 Pro Player Edition and come with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, although other versions of the memory are likely to be unknown as well.
The X50 Pro Player Edition will display a 6.44 “2400×1080 pixel display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. And the official-looking render that has surfaced reveals the screen will have a pill-shaped hole for 16MP and 2MP cameras in the top-left corner.
The quad-camera setup on the back will include an 8MP (probably ultrawide) 48MP main camera and two 2MP (depth and macro) units.
The X50 Pro Player Edition features an in-display fingerprint scanner and pack a 4,200 mAh battery with 65W support for fast charging. Its variant of 8GB/128 GB should cost around CNY3,299 ($465/€430).

These specs suggest that the X50 Pro Player Edition will be an X50 Pro 5G with downgraded cameras, but as this is a gaming-oriented smartphone, it’s going to be interesting to see how Realme differentiates it from the X50 Pro 5G with gaming functions.
In the days leading up to the official announcement, we’ll probably hear more about the X50 Pro Player Edition.
