Redesigned Apple Maps experience expands to users in these five countries

Apple is working on expanding Apple maps, its most useful and latest version to more countries. During a press release, Apple announced the good news for their users living in Netherland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Switzerland can now get access to apple maps.

This expanding of Apple maps has bring faster and more accurate navigation, thorough graphics and cartography, 3D view of landmarks and much more. The update will also provide the directions guideline in a more convenient way that would be much easier to follow. Siri will provide navigation in a more communicable way.

There are much more features available in this new expanded version of Apple maps.

  • Users can scan their way on the map by holding the phone in a straight manner. This will help to providing a step to step guidance. These maps will be able to determine pointed location and can provide a perfect guidance which is viewable as the part of real world.
  • High-quality street-level views, 3D imagery, and fluid transitions are available in Maps’ “Look Around” feature. The Netherlands, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland are now accessible to Maps users from anywhere in the world.
  • Certain electric vehicle owners can use use Maps to plan their journey with convenient charging stations, accounting for elevation changes and other considerations along the way.
  • In Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, public access users can more quickly locate neighboring stations and pin frequently used lines.

The expansion was praised by Eddy Cue, senior vice president of services at Apple, in a statement:
