The smartphone features an 8MP selfie camera. the selfie camera is located in the punch-hole cutout. On the back, the Redmi 12 features a 50MP main unit. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens.

The Redmi 12 is fueled by MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset. For storage, the smartphone features 4/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Do note that the storage is expandable via the microSD card slot.

The Redmi 12 is offered in three different colors i.e., Midnight Black, Sky Blue, and Polar Silver colors. The cost for the 8/128GB trim from Shopee and Lazada is set at THB 5,299 ($153). The Redmi 12 will cost €199 when it is released in Europe, according to earlier rumors.
