Redmi released the Note 10 and Note 11 this year. The former was launched in March, while the latter was released just two weeks ago. The company is now preparing for the next generation; the Redmi Note 12.
Redmi will now release two Note series every year. So in 2022, we may expect to see the Note 12 (probably in Q1), while the Note 13 (in Q4).
Lu Weibing, the general manager of the Redmi brand, is taking suggestions for the next lineup. He recently posted on Weibo, “do you have suggestions for future Note products?” A user responded, “Snapdragon 870” for an answer, but Weibing corrected the user by replying, “that is the K series.”
What the company will bring, we have no idea as of now. But we know, there are some insiders or market experts who’ll find out about the device and will share it with us. In the meanwhile, let’s talk a little about the recently released Redmi Note 11 series.
The Redmi Note 11 lineup is a 3-model series – Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro Plus. The device has already landed in its homeland and has made sales of over 1 million units in just a little time. The series will soon reach Vietnam, probably in January 2022. However, the global variant is quite different from the local one.
According to a report, the global variant will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset instead of the MediaTek Dimensity. We don’t have much to tell you about it right now, but we also believe that the global model might also feature a different CPU and GPU.
Back to Redmi Note 12, we also have one very interesting piece of news. While the GM of the Redmi brand is taking suggestions for the Redmi Note 12, a publisher is saying that the company has already released the Redmi Note 12 Pro back in September this year.
You may check Redmi’s official website to reconfirm if the company has released the Redmi Note 12 series or not. We couldn’t find it (dated November 12th, 2021).
