Redmi K70E will be powered by the Dimensity 8300

We are all aware of the fact that Redmi is a sub-brand of Xiaomi. According to some recent pieces of information, the company has begun advertising its new smartphone, i.e., the Redmi K70E. According to sources, the smartphone will be officially unveiled before the end of this month. The K series are the flagship and high-end series debuted by Redmi. Reportedly, the series comprises of Redmi K70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro.

Some reports suggest that the Redmi K70E will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8300 chipset. Well, this is not based on assumptions since it has been directly confirmed by the company’s official sources: teasers. Getting into the details of the chipset indicates that it is not the 8300. It is the 8300 Ultra that is kind of a secret for everyone for the time being. Time will tell if there are any somewhat more significant improvements in these situations, or if it’s just a branding exercise.

Previously, the smartphone appeared in an online benchmark with a similar chipset. Redmi is exaggerating the performance of the K70E by stating that a prototype achieved 1,526,328 points in AnTuTu analysis. In addition, the phone was still achieving 58.86 FPS after an hour of playtime in “an open-world game” at 25 degrees Celsius. This one is obviously aimed at serious gamers who are unable to purchase Xiaomi’s flagship series.

Given the fact that the smartphone is arriving in 2023, the year of AI surge, it will for sure include some generative AI features like generating sentences, photos, and real-time closed captions based on prompts.
