Some sources from supply chain have unveiled the details about the primary camera of the standard P70 model. The high-end smartphone from the Chinese tech giant is reportedly going to have an OmniVision OV50H sensor installed for its primary camera. This is a 50-megapixel image sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.3 inch and a single pixel that is 1.2μm in size.
This information aligns with a previous report shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station. He claimed that OmniVision OV50H will be used as a main sensor on the back. He asserted that the P70 will feature a 50MP triple camera setup. A 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter—which can capture macro images and provide 4x optical zoom—will be combined with the OV50H sensor.
In addition to this, the tipster shared details about the display of the upcoming P70 series. According to details, it will feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved display. It is reportedly an OLED panel provided by local suppliers like CSOT, BOE, Tianma, and Visionox.
