Research: 78 Percent of iPhone Owners Wear Apple Watch And 71 Percent of Pixel Owners Use Pixel Watch

The majority of iPhone owners use the device in conjunction with a smartwatch. The Apple Watch is used almost exclusively for this purpose. Only a few users have bought a wearable from another manufacturer. At Samsung, loyalty is lower.

Although there are now a wide variety of wearables, in most cases, buyers of Apple products also use Apple accessories. According to a survey by Computerpoint Research, 78 percent of wearable iPhone users rely on the Apple Watch. With Samsung and the Galaxy models, the proportion is only 39 percent. Google can also record a high level of loyalty. 71 percent of Pixel owners wear a Pixel Watch.

Of course, not every smartphone owner owns a smartwatch. Overall, every third iPhone owner should have an Apple Watch. Apple has a 56 percent market share in the wearables segment. 77 percent of participants state that they would like to buy an Apple Watch as their next smartwatch model.

Most users are satisfied

Almost all users are satisfied with their current smartwatch. While 77 percent of owners are “very satisfied” with their device, 21 percent are “fairly satisfied”. Only two percent are neither satisfied nor disappointed. Wearables are most commonly used for activity tracking, notifications, and health features. 59 percent of users bought their current model in the last year. Only 14 percent of owners bought the device more than two years ago.
