Roborock S7 MaxV: New robot vacuum flagship is announced

Roborock has an early start. If you actually wanted to present the new S7 MaxV vacuum robot at CES 2022, the company itself caused a leak on its official website in advance. So the innovations of the flagship are already known. The Roborock vacuum robots, which are quite popular in Germany, are presented by a new premium model. As expected, the Chinese manufacturer will add the Roborock S7 MaxV to its portfolio. In addition to the mopping and vacuuming robot itself, Plus and Ultra bundles with new suction and filling stations are also planned. This is indicated by initial information that was published on the company’s website via Caschy’s blog were seen.

Significantly more suction power and an interesting “Ultra” station

Among other things, there is talk of improved obstacle avoidance (ReactiveAI 2.0) and hazard detection as well as a suction force of 5100 Pa and the integrated VibraRise wiping system. In addition, the built-in cameras are able to create a 3D map of rooms and trigger an automatic mop lift when changing from hard floors to carpets. Apart from the doubled suction power, the differences in comparison to the predecessors Roborock S7 and S6 MaxV seem to be limited. It gets interesting when you look at the optional accessories of the Roborock S7 MaxV family.

While the plus bundle enables the classic automatic dust removal, the ultra version should provide more autonomy. It is also able to remove the dust from the containers of the robotic vacuum cleaner, but also allows the water tank to be filled automatically and washes the mop of the Roborock S7 MaxV for the next cleaning process.
