IFA is Europe’s biggest electronics exhibition. As per some recent pieces of information, the South Korean conglomerate is all set to launch a new food integration platform at IFA 2023. Reportedly, the company will debut Samsung Food. It is based on Artificial intelligence to offer a customized food experience to Samsung home appliance users. On September 1, the IFA 2023 event will be organized in Berlin, Germany.
Samsung Food can perform a variety of tasks like meal planning, cooking, preparation of food, recipe research, storage, and content sharing. All these functions are carried out via a single platform. Furthermore, users can even connect the Samsung Food platform with their kitchen appliances like the BESPOKE AI Oven and the Family Hub Refrigerator.
Samsung Food eases meal preparation. It gives users access to around 160,00 recipes. Additionally, it can even identify the ingredients available in a user’s fridge and offer customized food recommendations. Users can save favorite and unique recipes in the ‘My Recipes’ section.
Depending on your degree of ability, the Samsung Food app will also assist you with your cooking. For instance, it will provide you with cooking instructions based on the difficulty, length, and availability of your spare time. The customized recipes will be linked to kitchen appliances. For instance, the platform can share the instructions with the Bespoke oven, which will set the cooking requirements in accordance with the recipe.
The app is now available on mobile devices and Bespoke refrigerators. Within a year, the company plans to add a personalized recipe feature to Family Hub. Besides this, Samsung Food and Samsung Health will also be connected by the end of this year. It will enable users to manage meals in accordance with the user’s health preferences. Furthermore, the company will incorporate ‘Vision AI’ technology that will help users understand the nutritional value of any food with just a picture. Reportedly, the app will be rolled out gradually in 104 countries and 8 languages. It will be accessible on both the Google Play Store and the App Store.
