Samsung Galaxy A22 is expected to come in two variants – 4G and 5G
Samsung is working on a new device which is expected to come in 4G and 5G and may carry the name – Galaxy A22.
Samsung is working on a new device with a model number SM-A225F and will run Android 11 out of the box. Not only this, but the company is also working on another device with a model number SM-A226B. The former is the Galaxy A22 4G, and the latter is the 5G variant of the Galaxy A22.
The Galaxy A22 4G was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), where it passed the BIS certification. This device also showed up on the HTML5 test benchmark listing, where it was revealed that the smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box.
The 5G variant is said to carry a price tag of KRW 200,000 and is expected to soon release in South Korea, India, Southeast Asia, and some European markets. Moreover, this variant is expected to come in two storage options, will be available in four colourways – Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet.
Though nothing more is disclosed, it is expected that this Galaxy smartphone will feature a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary main camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and two 2MP snappers.
As said, Samsung is expected to launch this new device in the second half of the year, which means we have plenty of time to know more about the smartphone before it reaches the market.
