Samsung Galaxy A31 To Launch Soon After Appearing On Geekbench

As we all know that mobile phones visit Geekbench during the final phases of their testing and soon after that it’s time for their appearance on the market.

Earlier today we have seen Xiaomi sent its new phone Redmi Note 9 Pro to Geekbench which unveiled some key specifications and device performance. Now Samsung’s Galaxy A31 has been spotted on Geekbench, the device is mainly unannounced by the company because it’s not a flagship to brag about before it launches.

According to the listing, the new Samsung Galaxy A31 model named (SM-A315F) is powered by MediaTek MT6768V/CA (Helio P65) SoC which clocks at 1.7GHz, the processor is Octa-core. The phone tested on Geekbench was with 4GB RAM however, we can expect other variants as well.

The new Samsung Galaxy A31 witnessed 394 points on a single-core test and garnered 1291 points on a multi-core test. Moreover, it will run on Android 10 out of the box as most of all 2020 devices are equipped with Android 10.

There are not many details about the device on Geekbench but the ones mentioned above are confirmed, according to various other leaks reported earlier, the device will feature 64GB storage for the base variant. The predecessor A30 carried 32GB storage for the base model which has now changed and upgraded in the new model.

The device is also expected to carry a dual camera with 48MP+5MP sensors combination. The camera also has been improved significantly as compared to its predecessor. The icing on the cake is 5000mAh large battery being offered in this device makes it more attractive for the users using Chinese smartphones.

By the specifications, the South Korean giant seems to take on the Chinese manufacturers that often beat Samsung and Apple when it comes to offering RAM, Storage and Camera specifications. The Galaxy A31 also expected to come with better display 1080p, unlike the previous 720p display.
