Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is taking the leap and moving directly from One UI 2.5 to One UI 3.1.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is still at the introductory level, and the company is rolling out an update for its users. Earlier, the phone was released with Android 10 One UI 2.5.
The jump from Android 10 to Android 11 is part of its earlier promise, which was to roll out three upgrades for Galaxy A42 5G owners.
The Galaxy A42 5G update is recognized by release version A426BXXU1BUB7 and has recently been spotted in the Netherlands. The new update is awaiting its flight to reach other countries.

The new phone was still running on One UI 2.5 until recently when the company decided to skip One UI 3.0 and jumps on to the next versions, i.e., One UI 3.1.
Besides this release, the company may also release the security update previously said to be rolled out in March 2021.
According to the source, the phone price started at $450 and was said to be a record-breaking smartphone.
