Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go will be powered with Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 Processor

Previously, Samsung showcased the latest version of the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 laptop. Reportedly, the latest laptop by Samsung was fueled by a powerful processor i.e., Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3. Now Samsung has introduced another fantastic product. This product is also powered by a powerful processor by Qualcomm. Reportedly, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Book 2 Go powered with Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3.

The tech giant states that the Galaxy Book 2 Go is a compact and powerful device. The chipset of the device holds a 40% fast CPU and 35% more GPU performance in contrast to the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2. Notably, the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 was incorporated into the Galaxy Book Go. In addition to this, the new chipset accompanies various new features as well. These features include faster wireless connectivity for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Additionally, it supports LPDDR4X RAM (at 3,200MHz) and storage (NVMe SSD). Moreover, Qualcomm declares that the chipset offers better AI processing. However, no details have been shared as yet.

The powerful chipset is fabricated on a 6nm node by TSMC. Thus, indicating that the chipset is power-efficient as well. It will facilitate the device to last longer once charged for a single time. Furthermore, the tech giant claims that the laptop can last for the whole day or around 21 hours for video playback.

One interesting thing to note here is that the chipset features 5G, but it appears that the tech giant has incapacitated the feature on the device. So, we will have the new product as Wi-Fi supported version of Galaxy Book 2 Go. Maybe we will get to see a device [Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G] supported for 5G by Samsung later this year. The laptop runs Windows 11. Additionally, it accompanies various features of the Galaxy ecosystem like Multi Control (a Galaxy tablet), Links To Windows, Galaxy Buds Auto Switch, Quick Share, Samsung Notes, and Second Screen.

Besides these features, the laptop has a 14-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution. It is presented with a 180-degree hinge. It appears that the device holds a large trackpad, a webcam, and a tenkeyless keyboard. Where battery, storage, and RAM of the latest notebook have not been revealed by Samsung yet. It is built to the MIL-STD-810G spec. thus, indicating that the device is resistant to water, humidity, extreme temperatures, shocks, and vibrations. It weighs around 1.44kg and is 15.5mm thin.

We can expect that the product will be soon available for purchase. In France, the device can be purchased from Samsung’s website from January 20, 2023.
