Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy Book Go with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 Processor. The laptop was earlier planned to launch in April this year. But for some reason, it got delayed. Now that we have the new Galaxy Book Go let’s see what it brings.
This device was launched yesterday, i.e. June 2nd. It is a thin, lightweight laptop. Its measurements go like this:
The design is close to Apple’s Macbook and comes in silver color. It has a 14-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution. This device brings a 720p webcam for selfies and video calling and a stereo speaker with Dolby Audio support.
The Galaxy Book Go runs on Windows 10 – upgradable to Windows 10 Pro. On the hardware side, we have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor. The device is available in two variants: (1) 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, (2) 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The laptop also has a microSD card slot to expand the storage.
The device is available with LTE connectivity, and then there’s also a Wi-Fi-only model. On its connectivity side, we get a USB 2.0 Type-A port, dual USB 3.2 Type-C ports, a Nano SIM card slot, 3.4mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 5 (2×2 MIMO), and Bluetooth 5.1. The Galaxy Book Go is powered by a 42.3Whr battery with 25W fast charging support.
For the Wi-Fi-only variant, the price tag is $349. The price of the LTE device is undisclosed. However, the company confirmed, “Galaxy Book Go series provides more choices at accessible prices.” The company also confirmed in a post that it would release the Galaxy Book Go (Wi-Fi) on June 10.
